Suggested Manufacturer Wheel Settings

Here is a list of suggested manufacturer wheel settings to start with. Thanks to Chad McNeese for compiling this list. If your wheel is not listed here, please feel free to experiment and contact Chad to update this list. We are looking for settings for Moza and other wheels.

Please keep in mind that these settings are highly subjective, and these should be considered a good starting point to get the most raw and direct FFB possible. Many people do not like having FFB feeling this raw, and will want to add some filtering such as damping and smoothing. Go for it. There is no right or wrong answer.

Simagic SimPro Settings

  • Force Feedback:  100%
  • Max Torque:  10, 15 or 23 Nm (Mini, Alpha, Ultimate)
  • Wheel Rotation Speed:  50
  • Mechanical Damper:  100%
  • Smoothness, FB Detail, Mech. Friction, Mech. Inertia, FB Frequency:  0
  • Other Effects:  0% / 0% / 100 / 100 / 100 / 100  (defaults)

VRS DirectForce Pro Settings

  • Max force: 100%
  • Damping, Friction, Inertia, Spring: 0%
  • Smoothing: None
  • Static force reduction, Non-linearity: 0
  • Slew rate: Quiet

Fanatec Settings

  • Mode: Advanced Mode
  • SEN:  AUTO
  • FFB:  100
  • FFS:  PEAK
  • NDP, NFR, NIN, INT:  OFF
    • INT:  1 (for some drivers)
  • FEI:  100
  • FOR, SPR, DPR:  100%

Logitech G Hub Settings

  • Operating Range (Angle):  1080°
  • Dampener:  0
  • Strength:  11 Nm
  • Force Feedback Filter:  1
  • Enable Auto Force Feedback Filter:  OFF

Logitech wheel users must also disable the iRacing simulator’s support for TrueForce. To do this, edit the app.ini file which is located in the documents iRacing folder, and find and replace loadTrueForceAPI=1 with loadTrueForceAPI=0 and save.
