Overview
There are two different versions of Marvin’s Typhoon Wind Simulator.
- Typhoon-2 has two fans total, one on each side
- Typhoon-4 has four fans total, two on each side
You can expect to spend at Amazon, before taxes, about $170 for Typhoon-2 and about $233 for Typhoon-4. You will have some parts left over. In addition, it will cost roughly less than $20 for filament if you print the 3D printed parts yourself. The 3D print file (3MF) is available on my Etsy store for $30.
Parts List
This is a list of all of the parts that you need to buy. I have included links to Amazon, but you can decide to get them from a different source if you want to. Some parts are specific to the Typhoon-2 or Typhoon-4, so please pay attention to those. The parts are numbered to help you keep track of what you’ve already ordered. All the prices listed are pre-Trump tariffs.

These fans are quite powerful and they do get a bit loud at full power. You may opt to get different fans, but you need to make sure they are 140 mm fans that are 38 mm thick, and they must be 4-wire PWM fans. The 3D printed air straighteners matches the linked fan model exactly.

Printing
After you purchase and download the 3MF file, open it up in your slicer software. I recommend Bambu Studio, as this 3MF file was creating using that software.
